Not thinking about the politics of religion (or is it the religion of politics?). There are 282 blog posts here, and each one I suppose says the same thing we say at Christmas.
I need to be grateful for the blessings my life has provided. There are so many things that made me sad, but they stand as markers of the many more times of joy and content. I am grateful for family and friends, that death and loss reminds me of the value of life. I am grateful for the wealth and health I was blessed with, and will continue to try and bring the same to those less fortunate.
In that spirit, every day, and even today (despite the potential for political argument) have a Merry Christmas and Happy holiday, and more so let every day be filled with gifts of life and love
